Most of our work is thrown on a potters wheel. Pieces are sometimes altered and handles added. Some work is created with slabs of clay, rolled out with a rolling
pin and then formed. All pieces are glazed and fired twice in a kiln. The second firing goes up to 2165 degrees, making the work very durable.
All of our pottery has been created for your daily use. It can be placed in an oven, microwave, or dishwasher. However, as with all pottery, you must avoid
extreme temperature changes. Placing a piece of pottery directly from a cold refrigerator into a hot oven could cause damage to your piece. With proper care your pottery should last a lifetime and then some.
All of our work is handmade. Descriptions are provided to help with selection. Sizes and color may vary slightly due to each piece being created individually.
Most customers prefer this variation instead of pieces that are produced in a manufacturing environment.
